The Quad and Camel pack puts the two classic rides of the Agafay desert into one booking: one hour on your own quad, then one hour on a camel, with a mint tea break in between. Agafay is a stony desert outside Marrakech, with rocky tracks, bare hills and wide open views.

The day starts with a pickup at your accommodation in Marrakech, as the round-trip transfer is part of the pack. At the activity base you get a welcome, a safety briefing and your equipment. The quad ride follows the desert tracks with a guide for one hour, and no previous experience is needed. You then switch to the camel for a slower hour across the same landscape, and finish with traditional Moroccan tea before the drive back. Plan on a half day of 4 to 5 hours including transport.

• Included: round-trip transport from Marrakech, a 1-hour solo quad ride, a 1-hour camel ride, the tea break, equipment and supervision.
• Price: 500 MAD per person. Children pay the adult price.
• Not included: the transport supplement of 100 MAD per booking if your hotel is more than 10 km from the city centre.

The minimum age to drive the quad is 16. Under-16s must be accompanied by their parents. This is a small group activity, and closed shoes are recommended for the quad. Bookable times run from 10:00 to 19:00, and the camel ride takes place at sunset if you book a late-afternoon time, which is the moment many riders prefer.

To book, choose the date and a time, add the number of riders and send the request. The local team then confirms your pickup, and you pay on site on the day. Cancellation is free.
