Buggy Ride in the Marrakech Palm Grove

This buggy ride takes place in the Palm Grove (Palmeraie) of Marrakech, close to the city. In one hour at the wheel, you follow sandy tracks between the palm trees, cross hills and open countryside and pass through traditional villages, with stops for photos.

An air-conditioned vehicle picks you up at your hotel or riad and takes you to the departure point. There, the team explains how the buggy works, gives you the safety instructions and equips you with a helmet and goggles. A guide then leads the small group on the 1-hour ride. The pace can be calm or more dynamic, depending on the speed and the tracks. Along the way you stop for a traditional Moroccan mint tea.

You choose the buggy: 2 seats with a 500 cc, 800 cc or 1000 cc engine, or 4 seats with an 800 cc or 1000 cc engine. The price is per buggy, so the 4-seat models suit families and small groups who want to ride together. The minimum age to drive is 16; others can ride as passengers. A driving licence is not usually required, and the route suits all levels, with guides on hand at all times.

Included: the round-trip hotel transfer, which may be shared with other participants, a professional guide, the buggy with its safety equipment, the mint tea break and insurance. Payment is made on site on the day.
