Hot Air Balloon Ride Over Marrakech & Desert

A hot air balloon flight is the quietest way to see the landscapes around Marrakech. The balloon takes off from a desert launch area outside the city at sunrise and drifts over the desert, the palm groves and Berber villages, with the Atlas Mountains on the horizon.

The day starts very early: you are picked up at your hotel or riad before sunrise in an air-conditioned vehicle and driven to the take-off site. There the crew welcomes you with tea, coffee and light refreshments, gives the safety briefing and inflates the balloon. The flight itself lasts about 45 to 60 minutes. After landing you sit down to a traditional Moroccan breakfast in a desert camp, with tea, coffee and local specialities, then the vehicle drives you back to Marrakech. Count on 3 to 4 hours in total.
